ソーシャルビジネス ネパール孤児院運営のエンパワーメント支援についてRainbow Children Home

先日、Rainbow Children Homeの代表のGoma Dhakalさんからメッセージが来た。寄付に頼っていた組織の運営方法を、経済的に自主的に持続可能な運営をするためのシステムの構築の第一歩だという。以前の日記に、マイクロファイナンスとレストランも始めたいとので元手の資金がほしいが、その融資元が見つからない、という。なので、このハンドクラフトショップをはじめていくことにしたとのこと。
ここには、僕以外にも、海外、欧米の人たちがボランティアや一時的な寄付はするとのことだが、長期的な支援の保証はない、という。また、31人の孤児のうち、１６人だけが個人的に、一時的なフォスターペアレント（資金支援での里親役）がいるという。僕も、以前は出来る限り資金面で支援していたが、事情により以前ほどは送れなくなってしまった。
やはり、寄付側も、無力さを痛感。ソーシャルビジネスを確立する支援をしないと、とGomaさんに言っていた。
だが、そもそも、Gomaさんたちが利用できるマイクロファイナンス機関がないものなのか、Gomaさんによく調べてもらうと共に、僕でも、ネパールのマイクロファイナンス事情をよく調べてみることにする。

Thank you so much for your mail. We have received your money already, and as we know that we have sent a confirmation mail to you, at the same time, when the money was received in our bank. Once again thank you so much for your regular help and support to us. We are very happy to read your mail. We are so happy that you have taking interest in this handicraft project. I am working as a women activist since long back. So, I know some more problems of Nepali women, so I have decided to do something for empowering and making them independence through financially self dependence.
We do not have any donor. We are just running our Children Home only through volunteers, visitors and sponsors donation. We have now 31 children but only 16 children have sponsor, with in 16 sponsored children no one is in regular basis, some are for one year only, some are for two year like that.

For starting handicraft project, we are now writing a proposal. Also we are now calculating the total investment in the beginning. We will find what will be the total cost to start the project is and when we will be in break even point, how many product will be made from our handicraft industry, these all things we are now calculating.

We are very very happy to know that you have contact with many people like Canadian, English, Japanese to support our home and handicraft project. Thank you so much for your regular great help and support.

According to your mail, you are talking about long and short term support. We do not have any long term support yet. We have some sponsors they only are our short term supporter. Some visitor and volunteers also donates in some time but that is not in regular basis, sometime there in no volunteer and visitors at all. So, we have decided to establish a handicraft project for sustainable development for Rainbow Children Home as well as poor and helpless women. This project will give benefits to the both.
I also wrote to you about Micro finance and opening a restaurant business also I have written about establishing a School, due to the lack of money we could not start those.
I hope this handicraft project proposal will attract kind people and donate some money to establish. We are trying our best; we hope one day we will success…. If we get kind people like you, surely we will able to do it easily.
